About Paul

Paul Harkins

Founder, mentor, author, patent holder and father.

Paul Harkins is a founder, mentor, and author who has spent more than twenty years building companies, and studying the people who build them.

As a founder and inventor, Paul has launched, scaled, and exited businesses across technology, mobile, and financial services. He holds multiple patents in technology infrastructure and has founded companies including Billaway, GetAugie, Perch Mobile and TrivoSolutions.

But building companies is only part of his work.

Paul mentors founders and senior leaders navigating the less visible side of ambition, the pressure, patterns, relationships, and personal tradeoffs that rarely make it into the business books. His approach comes not from theory, but from decades spent inside the uncertainty, intensity, failures, reinventions, and occasional victories of entrepreneurship.

That same curiosity shapes his writing. As an author, Paul explores the patterns we carry into our relationships, our work, and our lives, especially the ones we stop noticing because they've been with us for so long.

His work, whether with a founder or on the page, ultimately asks the same question:

Are you still choosing the life you're building, or are you simply following the patterns that built you?

Paul is based in New York City. Father first. Founder, mentor, and author after that.
